In a message to campus yesterday, the Chancellor announced that Oct. 12th will be a Wellness Day for students and classes are canceled. Today and throughout the week, Carolina is offering a variety of resources to support the campus community. While recent events on campus this semester brought this mental health crisis and its impacts into sharp focus, please know that we are committed to providing sustainable support for our community beyond one day or week. The campus will continue to communicate about a variety of support systems in the coming weeks, and is convening spaces across campus staffed with experts from Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine and School of Social Work.

Resources for students [as well as faculty and staff] can be found on the Wellness Day website.

Students can also reach out to staff at the Carolina Center for Jewish studies by calling 919-962-1509 or emailing us at jewishstudies@unc.edu
