The Carolina Center for Jewish Studies is pleased to offer fellowships and top up grants for incoming graduate students who have academic and research interests related to the field of Jewish Studies. For graduate students planning to start at Carolina in academic year 2022-2023, the Center is recruiting for one TEP Fellow and offering two Top-Up recruitment grants. Departments must submit a nomination application by/before the January 19, 2022, 5:00pm deadline.

 

The Carolina Center for Jewish Studies is recruiting one TEP Fellow for the 2022-2023 academic year. Thanks to generous private support, the Carolina Center for Jewish Studies offers a Tau Epsilon Phi Graduate Student Fellowship for graduate student recruitment. The fellowship includes a $22,000 stipend with benefits for the first year as well as for the fifth year of study, to aid as a recruitment tool for prospective graduate students. Departments may nominate prospective graduate students who have an academic and/or research interest related to the field of Jewish Studies. Departments may nominate up to two students for this award.

 

Thanks to private support, the Carolina Center for Jewish Studies is offering two top-up stipends for graduate student recruitment for the 2022-2023 academic year. The Jewish Studies Top Up grant is a $7,000 stipend to enhance what departments can offer prospective graduate students, with half given each semester of the student’s first year. Departments may nominate prospective graduate students who have an academic and/or research interest related to the field of Jewish Studies. Departments may nominate up to two students for this award.
