Internships for Carolina Undergrads and Grad Students

The Carolina Center for Jewish Studies is accepting applications for paid, undergraduate and graduate student internships for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Established in 2003, the Carolina Center for Jewish Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill unites the general public, students and faculty from various academic disciplines who share a common passion for a deeper understanding of Jewish history, culture and thought. In addition to overseeing an undergraduate major, two minors and a graduate certificate, the Center hosts numerous events each year, including seminars, lectures and film screenings. The Center also offers grants to faculty, grad students and undergraduates, as well as for graduate student recruitment.

Lori and Eric Sklut, of Charlotte, NC, have generously underwritten the internship program, which was initiated in the 2016-2017 academic year. In past years, the interns created outreach materials for undergraduates, expanded the Center’s social media efforts, worked on events related to the Center’s 15th anniversary showcase and produced a new video for the Center.
